Dog eat dog. Kill or be killed. Mantras that describe, to some, an outlook. A mindset, perhaps. In trenches, however, it’s a way of life. In a lot of cases, it’s THE way of life. The raw, primal fire inside an individual that allows them to risk it all at a moment’s notice for the sake of survival. These are my people. My community. The people with whom I eat. The people with whom I grind. Struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. Truly existing, simply, as human beings. Day in and day out. I invite you to hear our stories. Come have a seat at our table. There is plenty of room.
